Simple breast cyst
What it is
A breast cyst is a breast mass which, being cystic, is most likely to be fluid. That single point decides both the workup and the treatment, and it is why a cyst is not worked up the way a solid mass is.
How it presents
It presents as a painless swelling in the breast. On examination it is mobile and cystic, of a size such as 2 by 3 cm, with no overlying skin changes, and no other masses are felt.
