WHO End TB Strategy targets

What it is

The End TB Strategy is one of the WHO strategies. Its targets are a 90% reduction in TB deaths and an 80% reduction in TB incidence by 2030, compared with 2015.

Against those targets, the latest picture in the WHO TB report 2017 is one of a still high burden of disease, and progress that is not fast enough to reach targets or to make major headway in closing persistent gaps.
