What it is

Family medicine is built on five cornerstones:

• Comprehensiveness
• Continuity of care
• Preventive
• Community
• Coordination

The five are named together on one page. Continuity of care is the one that is asked about: it has more than one branch, and interpersonal continuity is the best of them, while being the branch that is ignored and under threat. So the cornerstone to name is continuity of care, and the branch to name within it is the interpersonal one.
